Business Questions
Is this a franchise?
This is a complete business package that is tailored to your needs. It not a franchise and all branding will be in your name.
Are you free to set your own prices?
You decide how much to charge your customers. There are several different options for you to consider. Depending on the format of the parties you choose, you may for example charge for a set number of children for an hour, or charge an additional fee for every child over the initial limit. The PartyBook software has a number of different pricing models that you can apply to your parties. If you hold an after school club you are free to set the price.
Do you have to pay extra for insurance?
Yes. We are unable to offer Public Liability Insurance but we can supply with insurance company details for you to obtain a quote.
Is there any maximum time limits to how much you can use the equipment?
No, none at all. You can use the equipment as much as possible in order to maximise your profits.
Operational Questions
Is the equipment safe?
The equipment we supply are designed with the utmost safety in mind, specifically designed for children and is CE certified. All equipment supplied is brand new and supplied under warranty from the manufacturer
Is the equipment hard to use?
You will be provided with specialised training to ensure you can safely operate the equipment. It should not be a problem training most people to use the equipment.
Is the equipment only for birthday parties?
We have had great success in using the karts and other equipment for fun days and after school clubs. You may wish to offer a driving club, a multi-activities combined with the go-karts and dance mats and go-karting sessions for other child's groups. We have procedures in place allowing you to maximise the potential of the equipment.
How much space will we need?
This depends on the equipment provided but all can be operated at many locations, including leisure centres, schools and large indoor areas. The go karts for example are operated within a 11m x 15m inflatable track and need approximately two badminton courts.
Can I integrate my catering options into the software?
The MiaMox PartyBook software has many catering options for you to choose from. You can keep it simple by just offering food boxes or you can input your full catering option of any venues you are using. Either way the customer chooses the food options so freeing up your time and resources.
Software Questions
Do the customers really login and manage their own parties?
Yes. We have had thousands of customers use the Customer Login Area. It is a well managed process that allows the customer to feel that they are in control. Of course not everyone has internet access, but with the majority of UK households now having broadband and in our experience the vast majority are more than happy to use the system.
Is the software Internet-based?
Yes. You will need a reliable internet connection in order to use the system.
How many people can use the software?
As many as you like, although it would be sensible to have a core set of people to manage the bookings. You are able to add or remove users from the system.
What if I wanted the software to do something different?
The PartyBook software is being updated all the time and every new request for additional functionality will be considered in earnest.
